The trees are tall with long drooping leaves. The fruit coming from the tree grows in clusters. The colors of the outer shells can vary from green, orange, red and yellow among others.

For Your Pet: Betel-nut palm is a plant mostly found in many parts of Asia and the Pacific. Although it may be used for cultural practices, it has many serious health effects to animals and humans after research shown it to be a carcinogen.
