Not a classic poison like some houseplants, but Brussels sprouts are cruciferous and often cause painful gas and bloating in rabbits. That gas risk is why they belong on a do-not-feed list for routine feeding.

Should I feed my pet Brussel Sprouts?

We do not recommend feeding Brussels sprouts to rabbits, guinea pigs, or chinchillas.

How much can I feed them?

Avoid offering. If your pet ate Brussels sprouts, watch for bloating, hunched posture, small droppings, or reduced eating and contact your veterinarian if you see these signs.
