The Buckeye looks similar to what the name suggests, the eye of a buck. The hard shell is brown with a tannish circular scar.

Yes. Buckeye seeds and sprouts are toxic to rabbits, guinea pigs, and chinchillas and can cause diarrhea, neurologic signs, and life-threatening complications. Do not offer nuts, seedlings, or chew toys made from buckeye material.
