Depending on where the plant is grown the plant can vary in size and color shades. The leaves you will find are lobed and around 6 or more inches long. These leaves can either be a light green or even have a dark red look. The plant births a prickly green-red shell with a small red flower on the top of it.

Is Castor Bean item toxic?

Yes. Castor beans are highly toxic to rabbits, guinea pigs, and chinchillas because of ricin. Even small amounts can cause severe vomiting, diarrhea, organ damage, and death.

No. Do not feed castor beans or any part of the castor plant to rabbits, guinea pigs, or chinchillas.

How much can I feed them?
