Chickweed is a cool-season annual plant that is native to Europe. It has fine hairs on one side of the stem in a single band and on the sepals (protection for the flowering bud).
For Your Pet: Chickweed can be used as a sometimes treat for your pet because it has a moderate level of calcium. It can also be used as an anti-inflammatory.
Warning: Chickweed is to only be given as sometimes treats for they have a moderate level of calcium and it's important to not give your pet to much.
