The Crown of Thorns plant, also known as Christ plant or Christ Thorn, is native to Madagascar. It has a large stem with small red or pink two-petalled flowers, and large teardrop shaped leaves.

Yes. Crown of thorns is a euphorbia with irritant latex that can poison rabbits, guinea pigs, and chinchillas, causing mouth pain, swelling, vomiting (species-dependent), and severe diarrhea.

No. Do not feed crown of thorns leaves, stems, or flowers to rabbits, guinea pigs, or chinchillas.

How much can I feed them?
