Deadly Nightshade has dark purple bell-shaped flowers and green (unripe) or black(ripe) berries. These berries grow separately on the plant while the less poisonous Black Nightshades berries grow in bunches. Another distinction between the two is Black Nightshade flowers have white petals.

Is Deadly Nightshade item toxic?

Yes. Deadly nightshade (Atropa belladonna) is extremely toxic to rabbits, guinea pigs, and chinchillas. Tropane alkaloids in leaves, flowers, and berries can cause drowsiness, paralysis, respiratory failure, and death.
