For Your Pet: Parts of the Elderberry plant including berries, roots, stems, and leaves are poisonous to humans and animals. Elderberry contains cyanide-inducing glycosides that can cause severe diarrhea, vomiting, and can lead to possible death. Apart from using the berries as a medicinal supplement for humans when cooked, it is reported that the flowers on the Elderberry plant is not poisonous to rabbits, however we suggest you not take the risk of feeding them to your rabbit.
