Is Eucalyptus item toxic?

Yes. Eucalyptus foliage and essential oils are toxic to rabbits, guinea pigs, and chinchillas. Oils and phenolics irritate the gut and nervous system and can cause pain, diarrhea, and breathing difficulty.

Should I feed my pet Eucalyptus?

No. Do not feed eucalyptus leaves, stems, bark, or floral filler to rabbits, guinea pigs, or chinchillas.

How much can I feed them?

Do not offer as food or forage. If your pet ate eucalyptus, contact your veterinarian or a pet poison hotline right away.
