Maize, known as corn, is a cereal grain domesticated around 10,000 years ago. Corn grows on very tall, leafy stalks. The corn itself is most commonly found as yellow with hundreds of kernels surrounding the cob. Most people know this as a food for humans and livestock.
For Your Pet: Rabbits and other small pets cannot eat corn due to high starch content and carbohydrates which your rabbit have a very hard time digesting.
Warning: Do not feed your pet corn as it may cause illness.
