Goosegrass plant for pet treats

Goosegrass

Galium aparine

Guideline: Sometimes Treats

Type: Outdoor Plants

You can find this grass in hard or compacted ground. It has a center where it grows from close to the ground. The seed holding stem looks like the foot of a goose. The grass blades are similar to what people may call crabgrass.

For Your Pet: This is a weed that grows in your yard but is not harmful to your pets. Every once in a while they can nibble on it.

Warning: Don't let your pet free feed on this. May cause sickness if given too often.
