You can find this grass in hard or compacted ground. It has a center where it grows from close to the ground. The seed holding stem looks like the foot of a goose. The grass blades are similar to what people may call crabgrass.

Is Goosegrass item toxic?

Not a focused toxin like some houseplants, but it is still only a yard weed. Overeating goosegrass can upset digestion in rabbits, guinea pigs, and chinchillas. Pesticide-sprayed plants are unsafe.

Should I feed my pet Goosegrass?

Only as an occasional nibble if the plant is clean and unsprayed. It is not a staple food for rabbits, guinea pigs, or chinchillas.

How much can I feed them?

Offer a tiny amount very rarely alongside unlimited hay and their usual portions of safe greens. Stop if stools loosen, appetite drops, or you are unsure what was sprayed nearby.
