Cherry Laurel is used as hedging or bordering a perimeter. They are an evergreen shrub with tough dark green leaves with clusters of cream colored flowers, and grow small dark purple berries.

Is Laurel Cherry item toxic?

Yes. Cherry laurel contains cyanogenic compounds that can release cyanide and severely harm rabbits, guinea pigs, and chinchillas, causing respiratory distress, pain, and GI signs.

Should I feed my pet Laurel Cherry?

No. Do not feed cherry laurel leaves, flowers, or berries to rabbits, guinea pigs, or chinchillas.
