Sago palms are large plants native to Japan that are typically used for landscaping or ornamental purposes. This plant produces a large crown of dark green, feather-like leaves, and a thick trunk that has a large husk.
For Your Pet: Sago palm is extremely poisonous to humans and animals if ingested. Symptoms include vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, seizures, weakness, organ failure, and death.
