Taro Vine
Syngonium podophyllum
Guideline: Poisonous
Type: Indoor Plants
Taro vine (arrowhead vine, Syngonium podophyllum) is a common trailing houseplant with glossy green leaves, often marked with cream or soft yellow. Do not confuse it with pothos, which people sometimes call devil's ivy—that is a different plant and also unsafe for pets.
For Your Pet: This plant is toxic to rabbits, cats, dogs, and other pets. Symptoms may include vomiting, excessive drooling, irritation of the mouth, and swallowing difficulties.
Warning: Do not feed your pet Taro Vine as it can cause illness.
Resources: If you believe that your pet has been poisoned immediately call your vet or one of the animal poison control hotlines on this list.
