Walnuts: Toxic to rabbits and pets

Walnuts

Juglans regia

Walnuts are encapsulated by a fleshy green exterior that, inside, holds the hard shell and the waxy nut. When cracked open, you will see the edible nut meat which has either a light tan or brown coloring to it. The edible meat of the walnut weirdly resembles a brain when it's whole, however most people chop or dice these to add to delicious dishes and desserts.
