Wild Cucumber
Echinocystis lobata
Guideline: Poisonous
Type: Outdoor Plants
For Your Pet: Wild cucumber plants (both Cucumis anguria and Marah macrocarpa) have mild toxicities which can be harmful to your pet if ingested. Please remember cultivated cucumbers, like the ones we can buy from the grocery store or market, are safe for your pet to eat and are different than the ones we've talked about above.
Warning: Do not feed your pet wild cucumber plants as it may cause illness.
Resources: If you believe that your pet has been poisoned immediately call your vet or one of the animal poison control hotlines on this list.
