  • Dried dandelion leaf — Single-ingredient leafy topper for sprinkle-on forage.
  • Forage garnish — Adds scent, texture, and foraging interest over everyday hay.
  • Not a medication — Herb topper only—does not treat illness, urinary issues, or digestion problems.
  • 150 g and 500 g — Choose a trial pouch or a larger refill size.
  • Bunny Bum — Third-party resale through Rabbit Hole Hay.
The Bunny Bum Dandelion Leaf is a dried dandelion leaf herb topper from Bunny Bum for rabbits and guinea pigs who already eat unlimited hay. Sprinkle a small pinch over hay or greens when you want a leafy forage garnish with a mild green scent.

This is an herbal garnish, not a medication and not a meal. Do not increase the amount hoping for stronger urinary, digestive, or liver effects—more herb is not more medicine. We sell it as third-party resale from Bunny Bum with Rabbit Hole Hay checkout and support.

Start with a few pinches for several days and watch appetite and droppings. Pause and talk with your exotics vet if stool softens, hay gets ignored, or your pet seems unwell. Some rabbits simply dislike leafy toppers—that is normal preference.

Most orders are shipped from our Warehouse the Next Business Day. In an effort to ensure your product comes as quickly as possible, your product may arrive in a brown box rather than the colored box shown in the image.

Storage & Freshness

The Bunny Bum Dandelion Leaf is a dried dandelion leaf herb topper from Bunny Bum. We offer it as third-party resale for owners who want a ready-to-sprinkle leafy forage without sourcing bulk botanicals.

It is intended for rabbits and guinea pigs. Other small herbivores may tolerate dandelion leaf—confirm species safety with an exotics vet before offering a new herb. It is not formulated for reptiles or other non-herbivore pets.

The listing includes two sizes: 150 g (SKU BUM-DANDL-150G) and 500 g (SKU BUM-DANDL-500G).

Treat dandelion leaf as a garnish, not a staple or a drug. Grass hay should still make up the bulk of a rabbit or guinea pig diet.

This product is not a urinary treatment, digestive supplement, blood-pressure remedy, or liver medication. Older marketing sometimes listed plant benefits—those claims do not make this a medicine. If your pet needs clinical care, call your exotics vet.

Some pets may refuse the leafy taste or scent—that is normal preference, not a product defect. Discontinue use and contact your vet if you see appetite loss, diarrhea, or behavior changes after introducing the herb.

Sprinkle a pinch to ½ teaspoon on hay or greens once daily for an average healthy adult rabbit. Guinea pigs can receive a smaller pinch.

Mix a tiny amount into hay for the first 3–5 days before using the full suggested serving. Increase only if droppings stay normal—never pile on more leaf for a stronger effect.

Store sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. An airtight jar works well after opening the pouch.

Leaf color and piece size can vary batch to batch—that is normal for dried botanicals. Discard if you notice mold, musty odor, or pests.

Our Lionhead Lop Loves This Dandelion!

Our bun loves this new addition to his diet. He loves springing down stairs to find a pile of it on his plate next to his water. On our second, larger bag now and he shows no sign of not loving it as nice supplement to his hay, lettuce and treats each day (he is a free range bunny and burns the calories). The dandelion comes in a sturdy clear package, is nicely dried with good pieces, not all smashed up. Very happy with purchase.

Thrilled to hear that your Lionhead Lop is hopping with joy over our dandelion leaves! It sounds like your little one is having a blast exploring the house and enjoying his special treats. We're delighted our product fits in so well with his diet and lifestyle. Thanks for sharing your experience—keep enjoying those bunny adventures! ✨

Cannot review because Bearded Dragon 🐉 would not eat

Right after I bought this and the Chicory root our bearded dragon decided to go into mild brumation. His eating is much less and he refused both. So it’s now sitting in the bags going to waste.

Dandelion Leaf.

They smell good and look good, but unfortunately my bunny does not like them. so I am probably the wrong person to ask about them. My little spoiled mini lop is very picky about food and treats. I will keep the two bags I bought just in case she changes her mind. But as of now she refuses to eat them. She loves your hay though.

Thanks so much, Cheryl! We're delighted to hear your bunny loves our hay, even if she's still making up her mind about the dandelion leaf. Those little furry friends can be quite the connoisseurs! Who knows, maybe she'll surprise you one day and decide they’re just what she’s been missing. We appreciate you giving them a try and hope your mini lop finds them to her liking eventually! 😊
