Ultra Premium Soft Orchard Grass

I was introduced to the Soft Orchard Grass by Viviana when the ultra soft 3rd cutting timothy was not up to my standards. Viviana sent us a sample and my sweet boy Oliver LOVES IT !
I immediately ordered a 5 lb box of the Soft Orchard Grass and Oliver is one happy camper! Thank you Rabbit Hole Hay!

We are disappointed as the hay has a lot of brown and thin grass like stems. Baloo is not eating the Soft Orchard Hay.

Having coarse and soft are 2 good choices. Piggies love them.

I'm very sad to be writing this review because the soft timothy hay used to be the only hay my extremely picky bun would consistently eat. He loved it which is why i became a regular subscriber. Unfortunately, the quality has noticeably declined over the past year. While trying to find something he would eat, I decided to order the Orchard hay. At first, it was a little better and contained softer pieces that reminded me of how the soft Timothy hay used to be. However, the quality of the Orchard Hay has now changed as well. My last few orders have contained dry, brittle pieces with a significant amount of dust. My bun hasn't been eating much hay for the last year. I've inquired and I was told that they have had to change their hay source due to dried out fields. I truly hope the quality improves because the product used to be so wonderful and my bunny really loved it. I am currently trying to find hay that he loves.

The premium soft orchard grass is so much better than the last box we received several months ago. It's taking the bunnies a while to really chomp down the grass, but they are eating it.

I wanted my Percy Man to have variety so I ordered a large box of this years soft orchard because I found a small bag of last years hiding and he gobbled it up. Well the little bugger would not touch this years even though it was BEAUTIFUL green and fragrant. Frustrating I know. So I contacted customer service and they went over and above to help Percy and I out. My suggestion is buy a small bag each year first if you have a picky bunny. I am donating the orchard grass to the Guinea Pig Sanctuary as with over 300 pigs I do not think they will have a problem with likability. Very grateful for Rabbit Hole Hay as he will NOT eat any other companies soft timothy.

My rabbit wants nothing to do with this particular hay but she is also a picky eater. It looks and smells good so I’m sure some other rabbit would eat it up. She is crazy about the medium Timothy hay so that speaks wonders about your product

THIS IS THE BEST QUALITY HAY I HAVE EVER SEEN OR HAD! My piggy was suffering from allergies from timothy hay so i got a sample of this hay and his episodes completely stopped! This was so wonderful and worth every penny to hear him breath normally again.

This is the only hay my rescue bunnies will eat ❤️soft, clean from typical debris we have found in other brands. A huge hit with my fur kids.

I only give this 3 stars because my bunny would not touch it at ALL and I have tried many times..I had a small bag of last years orchard grass that I forgot about so I gave it to him and he gobbled it up so I decided to buy a 40 pound box of this years but he as stated he completely ignores it..He will gobble up other hay so I know its this hay he doesn't like..The orchard grass is a nice green and fragrant which makes the situation even more frustrating. Now I will have to donate this box to my local guinea pig sanctuary and start over. My suggestion is if your rabbit has ever been picky in the past then buy small bags each year to start as just because they ate the batch last year doesn't mean they will eat the following years..expensive mistake

Great quality! My bunnies love the soft Orchard hay.

Customer service is so awesome even though it’s hard to talk to a person but had a box of hay that waa labeled wrong and I said something about it and the next day they sent me a new box of hay for free. That’s is what great service is about. Not getting free stuff but howquick the resolved the problem.
